Can it be applied to the skin?
No. Sinkov Insecticide Aerosol must not be applied to skin, people or animals. It is an insecticide for rooms and surfaces.
Is it a repellent?
No. This is a PT18 insecticide aerosol, distinct from Sinkov insect repellents.
Which pests does it target?
The current authorisation and label cover mosquitoes, house flies, sand flies, ants and cockroaches.
How is it applied against flying pests?
For mosquitoes, house flies and sand flies, spray in an unoccupied, enclosed treatment area. Shake well first and close doors and windows. Hold the can above head height and direct it towards the pests and their habitats.
How is it applied against ants and cockroaches?
Spray towards identified pests and their habitats from 30 cm. Check wall bases, skirting boards, drains, pipe openings, cracks and secluded areas.
How long should I wait after application?
Keep the treatment area closed for 30 minutes, then ventilate for at least 1 hour.
How long should the area be ventilated?
After keeping the area closed for 30 minutes, ventilate for at least 1 hour. Follow these times even if you cannot smell the product.
How should it be used when there are pets?
Remove animals and their housing, including aquariums and cages, before application. Nobody other than the person applying the product may remain during application and required ventilation. Never apply the product to animals.
Can it be applied to people or animals?
No. Do not apply to people or animals, or to direct-contact surfaces such as beds, sheets, pillows, clothing and toys.
How long does it last after opening?
Shelf life after opening is 1 year. Unopened shelf life is 2 years under suitable storage conditions; also check the expiry date on the pack.
